Strong Workforce

Strong Workforce funding is aimed at creating more and better CTE. The proposal process is focused on increasing the number of CTE students who complete programs and are placed in jobs with living wages.

2017-18 Strong Workforce Proposal Process
November 29th, 2017: Proposals due to deans for review

  • September – November: Technical Assistance
  • December 15: Preliminary review of proposals by College
  • January 12, 2018: Project presentations to answer questions/clarify projects (10 minutes each)
  • January 19, 2018: final projects determined for submission (MJC & Columbia College)
