Application Process

One cohort of 40 students will be admitted into the program each fall (beginning fall 2017). Program participants will be selected through a lottery system.  The application period will be announced at a later date.

Steps to applying for the MJC Respiratory Care Bachelor Degree Program:

Step 1: Complete the CSU-GE Certification Worksheet to assist you in reviewing lower division courses completed for CSU transfer eligibility.  You will need to upload this worksheet with your application.

Step 2: Create an account with SlideRoom (the platform used for the application).  Students must have a SlideRoom account before they can start the application.

Step 3: Complete the MJC Respiratory Care Bachelor Program application when the application process opens (the application period has been extended and will remain open until the cohort has been filled). You will need to upload the following documents in PDF form with your application:

  • Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

  • Unofficial transcripts
