Evaluations

THE COLLEGE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS FROM FRIDAY DECEMBER 23RD THROUGH MONDAY JANUARY 2ND.  THE COLLEGE WILL REOPEN ON TUESDAY JANUARY 3RD.

Upon request of the student, the Evaluations office evaluates all incoming transcripts to determine any course equivalencies that can be entered onto the student's record. The office also conducts the evaluation of Associate Degree, Certificate and Skills Recognition applications for eligibility.


 Fall 2016 Applicants diploma pick up:

Fall 2016 Degrees/Certificates and Skills Recognition awards are ready for pick up in the Counseling Office on East Campus in the Student Services Building.  Students must have a picture ID.

Important Application Deadline Dates

  • Summer 2016 - August 19, 2016
  • Fall 2016 - December 16, 2016
  • Spring 2017 - March 10, 2017 to guarantee name in commencement program.  Must be eligible at time of application.
    • Final deadline is April 28, 2017

Notes for Success

  • ALL CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE EVALUATIONS OFFICE WILL BE SENT TO YOUR STUDENT EMAIL ONLY.
  • Please apply in the semester in which you will be completing your degree/certificate requirements.
  • Please submit a separate application for each degree/certificate if you are applying for multiple degrees/certificates.
  • Students may not earn an AA and an AS in the same program.
  • Diplomas and Certificates are available for pick up approximately two months after the semester has completed. Students will be notified by their student email when the final evaluation is completed.
  • A student who applies and does not meet all degree requirements for the term requested, will be required to reapply in the semester in which all requirements will be met.
  • For the Commencement Ceremony, honors designation will be awarded to those who achieved a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher at the end of the Fall semester.
