 STATUS OF CAMPUS:  Normal

Due to the recent shootings and other tragedies in our country, we have had some questions from staff and students about our campus alert system. It is called MJC Pirate Alert. Notifications of emergency situations are communicated to our staff and students by text, email and phone, notifying of dangerous situations and campus closures. Upon enrolling at MJC or becoming employed by the YCCD, you are automatically enrolled in the Pirate Alert System. This a very important benefit of our college, but you may OPT-OUT if you desire. By clicking on the Pirate Alert Link, you can log in using your student or employee log in information. You can add multiple phone numbers, mobile and home numbers of anyone you want contacted if our campus encounters an emergency situation. You can also edit the type of content you would like to receive and edit your personal information. The staff of Campus Safety are here to serve you and help provide a safe learning and working environment. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Campus Safety Administration Office 209-575-6615 or 209-575-6005. We would be happy to assist you.
