Are you part of the LGBTQ+ community and need help paying for college? Apply now for the MJC LGBTQ+ Academic Award of Excellence Scholarship. Selected recipients will receive a $500 scholarship.

Need help paying for college? The final deadline to apply and submit a complete application for scholarships at MJC is January 31, 2023! Fill out the online application and contact the MJC Foundation with any questions.
Rainbow Graduate Celebration: RSVP by Mar. 3rd
On March 31st at 11:00 am, MJC's second annual Rainbow Graduate celebration will recognize the accomplishments and perseverance of each student completing their Certificate, Associate and/or Transfer program. RSVP is required by March 3rd to participate.

The MJC Foundation welcomes Felix Pfeifle, to campus this February! Felix is a film maker, MJC alum and the creator of Felix Austria!. He will be sharing his creative process, experiences in the industry, and career opportunities in film. These events free and open to the public.

Pirate's Pantry Spring 2023 Update
Starting this semester, Spring 2023, all students participating in the assistance
programs offered through Pirate's Pantry will be required to fill out a short online
application. This will allow us to assess needs, track inventory and better serve students with
resources. Learn more about how MJC can help.
The application is open from now and provides access to programs such as:
- Grocery Appointments; Drive-thru or Pantry Visits
- Pantry Pop-Up Stations East/ West
- On-the-go Snacks and Drinks
- Food Services Vouchers
- Personal Care and Hygiene products

Renew your CADAA- Applications Open
The California Dream Act Application opened on October 1st. Students who are eligible to apply for the CADAA should apply by the March 2nd deadline. Completing and submitting the CADAA is free. MJC Student Financial Services is offering workshop to help you through the process.
It's time to renew your Financial Aid Application (FAFSA)
You can afford college. Begin by applying for Federal student aid by completing the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free. The application is now available online. Priority deadline is March 2, 2023. MJC Student Financial Services is offering workshops to help you through the process.
