Dates & Deadlines

To apply for financial aid, students must complete ONE of two financial aid applications. Either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

Here are a few key things to remember when applying:

- Only ONE application is required (FAFSA or CADAA)
- Remember to list Modesto Junior College school code 001240
- Complete a new application EACH academic year
- Apply on time (view dates by clicking on the academic year below)

Important Information:

1. Your FAFSA must be received and processed by the US Department of Education with an Official Expected Family Contribution (EFC) while you are still enrolled.
2. Allow 3 to 15 days for MJC to receive the results after you submit your FAFSA on-line to the federal processor.

FAILURE TO SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Students who do not submit required documents to the Student Financial Services Office forfeit his/her aid for the award year. In certain cases, students must return any aid funds already received for the year.
